Excited to be moving to the next productive phase Excited to be moving to the next productive phase for a permanent museum exhibition dedicated to the history of sounds in Monnickendam and the belltower that unites it all! With @studio_louter we'll create sound experiences that highlight the importance of bells, even off-key bells, in a small Dutch city, recognized by UNESCO World Heritage. Also it gives me an excuse to make models of another Renaissance Dutch tower. Waterlands Museum de @speeltoren.

The designer Daniel Marot fled the French court to the warm, but decidedly poorer, embrace of William III. His ornamental drawings influenced a generation of architects, as seen here.

Individualist, expressionist and wonderfully plastic; within a short time Northern Mannerism was replaced by stolid Dutch classicism, waiting a generation to arrive at the Baroque.
