The decimation of indigenous North American people's after colonisation is fact, but do visitors know how resilient, engaged and thriving these people are today? "First Americans" shows contemporary expressions of self-identification, agency, creativity, beauty and even futurism along side supporting objects out of the museum depot. With @studio_louter we'll create sound experiences that highlight the importance of bells, even off-key bells, in a small Dutch city, recognized by UNESCO World Heritage. Fantastic early modern city gate ornaments in Dord Fantastic early modern city gate ornaments in Dordrecht, as befit the oldest city in Holland proper. 50 years after his death the revolutionary influence of Michelangelo's architecture was making its presence felt in the Low Countries. Individualist, expressionist and wonderfully plastic; within a short time Northern Mannerism was replaced by stolid Dutch classicism, waiting a generation to arrive at the Baroque. #dordrecht #citygate #stadsoort #northermannerism #mannerism #earlymodern #architecture
